Johnstown, PA (WJAC) — The Pennsylvania State Education Association says they are concerned with reported school funding cuts proposed by Republican Gubernatorial candidate Doug Mastriano.
PSEA Treasurer Jeff Ney was in Richland Township Monday afternoon to talk to local teachers about the potential local impacts of the proposed school funding cuts.
Officials say Mastriano’s plan would cut public funding by more than $12 billion annually resulting in the loss of thousands of jobs.
6 News has reached out to Sen. Doug Mastriano’s campaign for comment but have yet to hear back.
