Pittsburgh (WJAC) — According to NFL Insider Ian Rapoport, the Pittsburgh Steelers are expected to sign veteran defensive-back Desmond King. King was cut by the Houston Texans on Monday and will provide the Steelers with some additional cornerback depth. King was drafted by the Los Angeles Chargers in the 5th round of the 2017 NFL Draft. In 95 career games, King has recorded 9 interceptions, 3 forced fumbles and 7 fumble recoveries, with three total defensive touchdowns.

It was late November 1978 when a train hauling about 50 cars loaded with coal derailed in Friedens, in Somerset County. Our news crews were there after it happened, then returned the next morning at daylight to see the damage. The force of the crash tore the rails from the wooden sleepers and left them mangled and twisted.

REYNOLDSVILLE - An additional flight to Pittsburgh International Airport from Jefferson County will soon be available for passengers. Southern Airways announced it'll be adding a midday flight to Pittsburgh from DuBois Regional Airport (DUJ) starting Thursday. Airport Manager Bob Shaffer said there will now be flights to Pittsburgh every two hours on weekdays. Shaffer said the change was made due to feedback from flyers and hopes it will help increase ridership.
