HARTFORD, Conn. (AP) — A woman was convicted Friday of conspiring to murder Jennifer Dulos, a mother of five who vanished from a wealthy Connecticut enclave in 2019 and was never found.
Michelle Troconis, 49, was found guilty by the Stamford jury following a lengthy trial in which prosecutors laid out a case that she helped her then-boyfriend, Dolus' husband, to plot and cover up the killing of his estranged wife as they battled each other in divorce and child custody proceedings.
SNYDER TOWNSHIP – A Blair County man is facing multiple charges after police say he threatened to light himself and his camper on fire, while also attempting to pour gasoline on state troopers.
Jason Morrissey, 37, of Tyrone, is facing charges of aggravated assault, criminal attempt/arson, terroristic threats, simple assault, recklessly endangering another person, resisting arrest, criminal mischief and disorderly conduct.
According to a police report, Morrissey engaged in a verbal altercation with his girlfriend at their residence at 808 Belmont Ave.
CLEARFIELD - A Clearfield County man on the run for 47 days was taken into custody Sunday without incident.
Justin Craig, of DuBois, has been wanted since he escaped from the back of a police car in the early-morning hours of May 17, after attempting to burglarize a business in downtown Reynoldsville.
Police said Craig was responsible for five different burglaries at Agway, H&H Hardware, Clearfield Tire, Auto Mike's and Puff Super Value Tobacco Outlet.
