PARK CITY, Utah (KUTV) — Gwyneth Paltrow is standing trial on Tuesday for an incident at a Utah ski resort that prompted a skier's lawsuit. The trial is happening in Third District Court in Park City at 9 a.m. and is expected to last about a week. The $3.9 million hit-and-run lawsuit was filed in 2019 by a Utah man who claimed he sustained a brain injury, in addition to multiple broken bones, after Paltrow crashed into him on the Deer Valley Resort slopes in 2016.

MARTINSBURG, Pa. (WJAC) — The Hollidaysburg American Legion Ambulance Service is holding its second annual Emergency Awareness Day this weekend. The event features music, family friendly activities and several educational resources. It raises money for the purchase of new equipment that benefits the ambulance service. Multiple emergency management services will be on hand to educate people about general safety procedures. Legion member Jonathan Rea says the group hopes to increase the event's exposure, as it helps both the community and emergency service personnel get to know each other.

First public meeting held to discuss potential new boating rules at Indian Lake

Somerset Co., PA (WJAC) — A meeting was held Wednesday night about the possibility of making some significant changes to boating rules at Indian Lake. Some of the proposed rule changes include restricting water sports, implementing new boat length requirements and no joy riding on any watercraft before 10 a.m. Another change could be water sport time restrictions on weekends and holidays. One resident voiced his opinion at the meeting about the possible rule change.
