HYNDMAN, Pa. (WJAC) — The National Transportation Safety Board has issued its final report on the August 2017 train derailment in Hyndman, Bedford County. The NTSB says the “inappropriate” use of hand brakes on empty train cars to control train speed and the placement of blocks of empty cars at the front of the train was the cause. The report says, the CSX train was carrying a variety of cargo when 33 cars derailed from tracks along the Hogback Road Crossing.

PORTLAND, Ore. I personally witnessed a person who appeared to be a man, openly dressing in the women's locker room. It was later communicated by the rec center that this was a biological female that was in the process of transitioning,” said Linda Dinerstein, a Newport resident.

The Penn State Nittany Lions suffered their first defeat to the Ohio State Buckeyes Saturday. Heisman candidate, Marvin Harrison Jr. Led the Buckeyes to a 20-12 victory. Harrison Jr. Recorded 11 catches for 162 yards and a touchdown. Penn State’s Curtis Jacobs nearly scored a defensive touchdown in the first half, but a defensive holding penalty on Kalen King negated the score. Ohio State (7-0) would score that same drive, going into the second half with a 10-3 lead.

According to the FDA, Hormel Foods Sales, LLC has voluntarily recalled a limited number of two PLANTERS products: PLANTERS Honey Roasted Peanuts PLANTERS Deluxe Lightly Salty Mixed NutsThe organization said that the products, which were produced at one of its facilities in April, were potentially contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes. According to the Cleveland Clinic, the symptoms of Listeria, a potentially deadly infection, include the following:
