Not a soul showed up to testify about what was supposed to be the session's main purpose, ordered on Thursday by Gov. Mike DeWine. The session's main purpose was to tweak the state’s filing deadline so President Joe Biden’s name could appear on the November ballot.Several people instead appeared before the House Government Oversight Committee to talk about a companion bill designed to bar foreign contributions to statewide issue campaigns in Ohio.
BELLWOOD, Pa (WJAC) — The Bellwood-Antis public library's socially-distanced used book sale ends this Saturday.
The staff says community members have gone through books and materials sitting around and chose to help the library by contributing to the sale.
There are also tickets for basket raffles being sold, and prizes donated by local businesses.
The sale is one of the library's biggest fundraisers, with staff saying they've been able to raise up to $1,000 in the past.
SPRING CREEK TWP (ELK CO.), Pa (WJAC) — According to a release from Ridgway State Police, officers received a call just after 9:30 p.m. Friday night from a man reporting that he had lost his friend in a wooded area between Bear Creek Road and Hallton Ridgeway Road in Spring Creek Township, Elk County.
The man told police that he had last seen his friend around 2 p.m. Friday afternoon and was supposed to meet up with him around 4:30 p.

“In the span of five years, me and my sisters had lost about five people. Two more to suicide.” Horner says. He tried to cope with the loss, he says nobody deserves to go through.
