Williamsburg High School teacher accused of having sex with a student

WILLIAMSBURG - A teacher at Williamsburg High School has been charged by state police with having sexual intercourse with a student. According to police, Nikki Varney, 44, has been charged with institutional sexual assault, statutory sexual assault, corruption of minors and unlawful contact with minors. Police said their investigation began after the school reported to police that Varney was in a sexual relationship with a male student. The investigation led officers to discover that the sexual encounter between Varney and the student took place over the summer.

Huntingdon Salvation Army reminded of miracles every day since fire

In the past two months since the fire, the foundation of the church; both the building and its people are strong. Local man fined, license revoked for fatal coal truck crash that killed couple and dog

Cambria County, PA — Catastrophe striking a local family, from a fatal coal truck crash. 70-year-old, Leonard Hite was at judge David Beyer's office, on Wednesday. This following accusations of “careless driving” resulting in death, and running a red light at the south center street and U.S. 22 stoplight intersection. Prosecutors say this resulted in the death of the victims Richard and Therese Dow, plus their dog. Hite even attempted to speak with the victims family as he was leaving.
