Humane Society of Cambria County holds Clear the Shelter adoption event

The Humane Society of Cambria County held their first ever Clear the Shelter Adoption event this weekend. This comes as the number of shelter animals has steadily increased since the pandemic. Twenty-one animals have been adopted this weekend so far but 56 are still without homes. The Humane Society urges people to give these animals a chance at a good life and to not give up on them. “Adopting is always better than shopping,"

Judge removed by Maryland Supreme Court over alleged office misconduct

WASHINGTON (WJLA) — A Maryland judge has been removed from her position by the state's Supreme Court after being suspended since 2023. Prince George's County Circuit Court Judge April Ademilyi's removal at the request of the Maryland Commission of Judicial Disabilities followed Monday's oral arguments on misconduct accusations during her time. It's the first time in Prince George's County history that a judge has been ordered removed, sources told WJLA's Brad Bell.

Three Springs man found guilty in shooting death of neighbor

VERDICT | Huntingdon Co., PA (WJAC) — A Huntingdon County jury convicted Cole Campbell of voluntary manslaughter and two counts of aggravated assault in the death of Timothy Skipper Jr. Sentencing is scheduled for January. DAY 3 |Testimony concluded Thursday in the homicide trial of Cole Campbell, a Three Springs man who is accused of shooting and killing his neighbor last year. The third day of testimony included the defense calling Campbell's father-in-law to the stand.
