SOMERSET COUNTY, Pa. — Two people are facing felony charges after hiding a wanted fugitive in the attic of a residence in Somerset Thursday morning, state police say. According to a press release, state police were attempting to serve a warrant for Kody Dunmeyer on the 300 block of Lavansville Road in Somerset when he was located hiding in the attic of the home. State police Rusty Koval, 35, and Tiffany Weimer, 34, were the only two individuals located on the second floor of the home when they discovered Dunmeyer.

Bellefonte Cruise sees over 300 cars compete this year

BELLEFONTE, Pa. (WJAC) — The Bellefonte Cruise kicked off — and into high gear — Friday night, wrapping up on Saturday. The annual car show has been a staple in Bellefonte and the wider region for 33 years, now. Organizers told us this year's two-day event drew in about 15,000 to 20,000 car-lovers, to admire and gawk at a range of cars. Over 300 classic, antique cars filled up the streets of downtown Bellefonte this year, which meant lots of competition this Father's Day weekend.

Father killed, child injured in morning shooting at Philadelphia gas station

PHILADELPHIA (WCAU) — At least one person was killed, and another person was wounded during a shooting at a gas station in Philadelphia Tuesday morning. According to officials, a family of four pulled up to the Conoco gas station shortly before 9 a.m. Investigators say the mother went inside to buy something from the station store, while the father and his two sons were left inside the vehicle. Police say that is when a masked gunman opened fire on the man in the front passenger seat before running off.
