STATE COLLEGE, Pa. (WJAC) — The “Make America Great Again” campaign is making its way through two counties in our viewing area Tuesday.
President Donald Trump’s son, Donald Jr., made an appearance at the Fullington Trail Ways in Centre County.
The “Make America Great Again” campaign has now had multiple stops across the state.
President Trump was scheduled to visit Erie Tuesday evening.
Trump Jr. last visited Centre County back in April of 2019, where he visited Penn State for a “Campus Clash.”
Tuesday, he made many jokes about democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden and his supporters, but also touched on topics like the pandemic, taxes and attacks on his father, while ultimately pushing for four more years.
“Our freedom of speech, our liberties, our basic rights are on the table in this election and the left is fine sweeping those things under the rug as long as it gives them the win,” Trump Jr. said. “That’s why we have to be on the ground because nobody is going to do that for us, we have to do that ourselves. And again, when you compare Donald Trump’s 47 months to Joe Biden’s 47 years it isn’t even close...”
Earlier Tuesday, the first lady announced she is canceling the rest of her campaign rallies because she is still not feeling well after testing positive for COVID-19. Officials say the decision is out of an abundance of caution.
Trump Jr. will make his way to Hollidaysburg for a second rally starting at 6 p.m.
